The site for the project has gone through multiple interventions through the years, all of them attempting to reinvent the town center into a better communal area. Despite all efforts, the scattered urban developments over the years and the poor links between the key components of this location create a decentralized environment. My concept for a market space aimed to embrace the existing layout, but to orient it in a way that creates a physical and symbolic focal point.
